"Ghostwritings" consists of seven works derived from existing sound recordings which have been massively reprocessed to leave only the most basic contours from the original material. All of the sounds on each track were derived from the sources, but digitally manipulated in ways that have totally restructured the sound spectra into completely new forms. This album should be played in one of two ways, either extremely quietly as a sonic background environment, or at normal volumes for active listening.
